Each Consultant on the Salopek & Associates’ team is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) or Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL), which is a level of assurance, skill and service we are proud to extend to our clients. Our Senior Consultants each have more than 16 years of experience and our Senior Specialists have advanced human resource and business designations in addition to extensive HR experience across a variety of industries. Message from the Founder- Janet Salopek

I am proud to introduce you to Salopek & Associates, a company that was born in January of 2006 out of a vision to provide exceptional support in Human Resources, Strategy, and Board Governance to organizations seeking strong HR professionals who truly understand business. While I had the honor of founding Salopek & Associates, the success and growth of our company over the years are due to the hard work and dedication of both our family and the incredible consultants who have joined our team.

Today, I have retired from the business, and Salopek & Associates is co-led by my daughter Vanessa, and two other passinoate Executives, have helped shape our company into what it is today. As a family business, we have always valued the importance of building strong relationships, working with integrity, and demonstrating expert knowledge and skill in everything we do. These values remain the cornerstone of our work and guide us as we continue to evolve and grow.

From our early days, family has been at the heart of Salopek & Associates. My daughters, Amanda and Vanessa, played a pivotal role in the initial stages of the company—designing our first logo and launching our first website while still students at the Haskayne School of Business. Amanda later brought her marketing and business expertise to the company, elevating us to national recognition. Vanessa has since stepped into a leadership role, bringing her strategic vision and passion for excellence to our team. My husband John supported the business as our Business Manager, allowing us to focus on providing the best possible consulting services to our clients. This family dynamic has been a source of strength and pride, infusing our work with trust, collaboration, and shared values.

Salopek & Associates is now a recognized leader in HR consulting, with a team of consultants servicing clients across Canada, with a physical presence in Calgary, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver, and Fort McMurray. Our consultants are the heart of our business. Many have been with us for years, building lasting relationships with our clients and becoming trusted partners in their success.
